This Air Bike is a fan-resistance exercise bike with moving arm handles. You push and pull the handles while you pedal, so your arms, shoulders and back work alongside your legs on every session.

How Fan Resistance Feels
Pedal gently and the fan barely pushes back. Speed up and the resistance climbs straight away. That makes the same bike suit an easy 20-minute ride and short, hard intervals, and you never stop mid-session to change a setting. Because the effort sets the resistance, a beginner and an experienced user can share it.
Interval sessions are where air bikes are most popular: for example, 20 seconds hard and 40 seconds easy, repeated 8–10 times after a warm-up. If you're new to exercise or have a heart, joint or back condition, start with easy steady rides and check with your GP or physio before hard intervals.
Will It Fit?
The bike takes up 129.4 × 59.2cm of floor and stands 127.4cm tall. Allow roughly 1.5m × 1m so you can get on and off from the side. The transport wheels let you tip it and roll it against a wall between sessions. On hard floors, a few EVA foam floor tiles underneath protect the floor and stop it creeping; four 60cm tiles in a square cover 1.2 × 1.2m.
Air Bike, Rower or Ski Erg?
All three are air-resistance machines, and you can buy them together on this page.
-
Air Bike: seated, with pedals and moving arm handles. The simplest movement of the three to pick up.
-
Rowing Erg: leg drive first, then back and arms. Low impact, but it needs about 2.5m of floor length.
-
Ski Erg: a standing pull-down that loads the lats, shoulders, arms and core. Only 52cm wide, and it can be wall-mounted.
If you want one machine that anyone in the house can use straight away, the bike is the easiest choice. If you'd rather train mainly through your back and posterior chain, look at the rower.

Adding Strength Work
The bike covers the cardio. For strength sessions on the days in between, a pair of rubber hex dumbbells or a cast iron kettlebell takes up very little extra space. For conditioning circuits, the soft plyo box pairs well with bike intervals.
FAQs
How much is delivery on the air bike?
£24.99 to England and Wales for the bike on its own, and £49.99 with the Ski Erg or Rowing Erg (see the table above). Scotland, Northern Ireland and BFPO are shown at checkout.
Can I change the resistance?
Not with a dial. It's fan resistance, so it gets harder the faster you pedal and push. Ride easy for a gentle session; push the pace for intervals.
Is it noisy?
The fan makes a whooshing sound that rises with your speed. That's normal for any air bike, and worth bearing in mind for early-morning sessions in a flat.
Is it suitable for beginners?
Yes. There's no technique to learn beyond pedalling and pushing, and you control the intensity. Start with short, easy rides and build up.
