Tree & Bar Stand Rack

A steel plate tree with a built-in barbell holder, so your Olympic plates and bar live in one spot instead of on the floor. It measures 130cm × 70cm × 63cm. You can buy the stand on its own or as a ready-made bundle with plates, a bar and a bench.

Pick Your Option

Each plate set comes in cast iron or rubber bumper plates at the same price. The tri-grip version is out of stock at the moment. Not sure which plate type suits you? Our guide to bumper vs cast iron plates explains the difference.

Adding a Bar or Bench

• 6ft Olympic barbell: adds £106.00 to any plate bundle. Delivery with the bar is £19.99 (60kg), £29.99 (120kg) or £34.99 (150kg).
• Adjustable foldable bench: adds £60.00. Delivery with the bench is £14.99 (stand only), £29.99 (60kg), £39.99 (120kg) or £44.99 (150kg). With the bar and the bench together it's £34.99, £44.99 or £49.99.

The bar is offered with the plate bundles only. If you just want the stand and a bar, the 2-inch Olympic barbell is also sold on its own. The bench has its own page too: Adjustable Foldable Bench.

Delivery prices above are for England and Wales. Scotland and Northern Ireland delivery is shown at checkout.

Which Plate Set Makes Sense?

• 60kg: a sensible start for learning barbell lifts such as deadlifts and rows. Add pairs later as you get stronger. (Squats and bench presses need a rack, which this stand isn't: see our racks.)
• 120kg: the only set with 2.5kg plates, so you can add weight in smaller steps. That helps most on presses, where 5kg jumps get hard quickly.
• 150kg: includes a pair of 25kg plates, for heavier squats and deadlifts.

Bundle or Separate?

Bought separately, the 60kg cast iron set (£126.00) and the stand (£114.99) come to £240.99, so the £228.99 bundle saves £12.00. The 150kg cast iron set (£315.00) plus the stand comes to £429.99, so the £399.99 bundle saves £30.00. Prices checked 2 November 2026.

Only need somewhere to keep your plates? Our other plate tree, the Tree Bar Storage Rack, starts at £59.99.

Delivery and Returns

Delivery charges depend on the total weight of your order and are confirmed at checkout before you pay. Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 14 days. See our returns policy for details.

FAQs

Does the stand come with plates?

Only if you choose a plate bundle. "Stand only" is the stand on its own.

Which plates fit?

The stand is made for Olympic plates and bars, the type with a 2-inch (50mm) centre hole. Every plate in our bundles is that type.

Can I add more plates later?

Yes. Single pairs from 1.25kg to 25kg are sold on the cast iron and bumper plate pages.
