The dumbbells themselves are good quality and feel well made, but unfortunately the rack is a huge disappointment and completely lets the set down. The dumbbells don’t sit individually in their own slots – they overlap each other, so if I want to use the 25 kg pair, I have to remove the 5 kg, 10 kg, 15 kg and 20 kg pairs first just to get to them. Once I’ve finished, I have to put them all back again. It’s extremely frustrating and makes the rack very impractical to use.

The black plastic protectors on the rack are another problem. They’re supposed to stop metal-on-metal contact, but they constantly slip off whenever I take a dumbbell off, so I’m always having to put them back on.

For the amount of money I spent on this dumbbell set and rack, I expected a much better design. A rack should allow you to remove each pair of dumbbells independently, not force you to take half the set off just to reach one pair. The dumbbells deserve better than the rack they come with. If the rack was designed properly, this would easily have been a 5-star product, but because of these issues I can only give it 2 stars
